The quality of your personalized stationery is very dependent on the quality of your photograph. It is important to submit a clear original, unedited photo. Please do not hesitate to call us if you have any questions.

SavetheDateNow Photo Enhancement Service and Digital Photo Submission Guidelines
1. All photo submissions must be at high resolution (at least 300 dpi).

2. Please send the original sized photo. While it may be tempting to crop the photo or stamp out something you see on your own, please be assured that our designers are professionally trained and can do the best job of enhancing your photo. If you have very specific instructions, feel free to send an email or call us!

3. The only photo files that we accept are .tiff, .jpeg, or .eps. We do not except .bmp, .doc, .png, .cdr, .pub, .pdf, or .gif. Do NOT send files created in Word or Publisher, as these files are not suitable for printing.

4. Please do not submit your photo as a link to your weddng website or an online photo service (e.g., Shutterfly, Kodak Gallery, Snapfish,). Such services store the original, high resolution photo on their servers to use for printing but only show a low resolution version on the web, which is fine for viewing on a computer monitor but does not print with clarity.

Tips for taking an acceptable PRINT READY Photo with your digital camera
1. Always check your camera settings before you shoot a photo you intend to print - on stationery or as prints. Always select the highest resolution and largest file your camera will support (e.g., if you have a 5 megapixel camera, you should select to shoot your photo as a 5 megapixel file). This will reduce the number of photos you can store on your camera disk or storage media.

2. Motion captured on camera can print blurry for that body part. Try to shoot the photo in ample light, which will allow the camera to capture at a faster speed reducing blurriness from unnoticed motion. If indoors with no natural light, try using a flash about 3 feet away from the subject(s) to achieve this.

3. When shooting the photo, be sure to use optimal lighting. Look for natural light - that is the best. Use the natural light projecting from windows and doorways on to your subject(s) for photos taken indoors. When outdoors, be sure to avoid direct sunlight on your subject(s) and if at all possible, wait for some cloud cover. Also in your viewfinder, look out for shadows that may appear in awkward places or particularly bright areas that may print almost whited out.

4. When your picture is finished and ready to be uploaded, it should result in a large file size (MB rather than KB) If yours did not, please reset the camera to the highest image quality setting and take the picture again.

The above guidelines are meant to produce the highest, professional quality photo possible. But the above are general guidelines only and may not work in all cases. If the photo in question may not print to a desire quality, a SavetheDateNow designer will contact you to discuss your options.

Advanced Designers
Graphic Artists and other advanced designers may want to design their own magnet.  We ONLY accept custom designs that were created using either Adobe InDesign CS or higher, or Adobe Illustrator CS or higher.
*It is strongly advised that you compress your file with WinZip to email or upload as this makes for better transfers. For your convenience and to ensure we maintain our high printing standards, we have created the following templates and instructions for use in creating your custom design artwork. These templates are prepared to our exact printing dimensions with the required margins and bleed set.
You MUST submit your custom design order using the below templates. We will review your file before printing.  If your order does not meet our design instructions, we will contact you. Your order will NOT be processed further until your file meets acceptance requirements.

If any changes need to be made to your custom design to make it “print-ready” we can provide the clean-up services for you at an additional charge of $18 per change. No work will be done without approval first.
